Hi everyone.
I'm currently busy negotiating all the details etc. But we are planning a type of a rally to raise funds in association with Cansa. We want to raise funds for Cansa as well as create awareness that people should go check themselves for cancer before it’s too late. 1 in four people in South Africa will receive the news that they do have cancer. And the earlier it is detected the better the chances are it can be cured.

This rally will be a team effort between Comicworx Studios, about three bands I still need to confirm with as well as some really crazy graffiti artists. The planning of this rally is only beginning now and I would really appreciate some input from your side. Suggestions perhaps. I have a couple of ideas of what we as Comicworx Studios could bring to the table, which is:

‘Super hero type’ t-shirts for the specific rally. (caps, gloves, eye patches etc)
Art workshops ( it was a HUGE hit at Rage)
Selling your art (or prints of it) and a part of the proceeds go to Cansa.

Of course the more artists who get involved the better, and perhaps it would become a very huge organization, and we could do something like this more than once a year.
The Rally is happening next year, if you want to be personally involved with the planning and organizing, please contact me. I do need the help.

You can actually approach RSE in Sandton, they manufacture Trodat stamps...
