Design Challenge #0

Ok, let's see how this goes

Specs:
Design a logo for the Artists Unite CANSA drive.
A golden color must be one of the colors that you use.
A gray scale version should also be available

Please post your designs in this thread, if you enter more than one design, please name them separately for voting purposes.
Posting specs stays the same, not bigger than 800 x 800 pixels.

The winner will have to supply a 300 dpi full color and grayscale logo.

We'll organise the winner a prize of some sort.

Alrighty, here's the pretty version... I'll post the standard and grayscale version and usage a little later!

I like saying why I vote for who so here i go....

I voted Mx and heres why:
I feel it shows the clearest what it's about the circle used for unity along with the hands shaking I think is very well interpreted. The message is clear and the design catchy.

Cap: I really liked your design I thought it was very trendy, however it reminds me more of a revolution then a unity it comes through as very strong and angry.

Zoob: YOur design looks Oh so Cool

And I think if you had brought out the paintbrush or art concept a bit stronger u would have had my vote.

I like Cap's cause it's agressive...though I like Mx's cause I think it represents the unite theme, and I like Zooby's cause I think it's a great design. I think MX's is probably more marketing friendly! If I designed one, if would probably have been more toward Cap's idea, though Mx's would have beat me....So I'm voting for Mx!

I voted for Captain Unobservant.
I like the revolution feel of the design

It looks 'powerful' in a way, and it kind of goes with the whole 'taking charge' aproach of being a survivor. And it goes great with the Hero theme of the art.
