Hello, heard about this at ICON.

I'm a programmer and I havent touched a pencil since I was a boy but I thought I was pretty good at it back then. I want to recuperate my skills but I've always put it off cuz it looks so astonishingly crap whenever I try to draw something now. I guess I just have to swallow some humble pie and start from scratch. Heres an attempt I did just now. Its a very lazy one but If I didnt allow myself alot of leeway I would just never do it.

I'd like to hear advice on colouring specifically.



I hope to attach some kind of small drawing to every post I make, just to force me to do soemthing.

Nice way of falling right into the doorway with a sketch! I can't really comment on colour, as I am not digitally advantaged at all! But your basics seem to all right, proportion, composition etc.

Hey Pantses! I must say, that name sounds like something out of Nacho Libre... But welcome aboard to Comic Worx! Hopefully we don't scare you off... We tend to do that...

To be honest, I think the colours are a little too oversaturated, but I really like the linework, it's conceptual, but beautiful! I think tone the colours down a little and you'll achieve awesomeness! (Although I've got room to talk... )

I think I'll take a raincheck on adding an image to each post, as its just preventing me
from posting at all
